MICROCAST CORPORATION

MICROCAST was established in 1982 following the initial purchase of the MESSIER Foundries and was taken over by a group of private French investors in that field.

MICROCAST is amongts one of the leading European foundries specialising in Aluminium investment casting. The head office is located near Lourdes in the south west of France. As well as the industrial plant, there are several commercial offices which allow us to serve and be closer to our customers. A large part of the production is exported, within industrial Europe and North America.

The technological process uses vacuum casting under low pressure, entirely computer controlled in order to produce the high qualified ALUMINIUM STRUCTURAL PARTS "PREMIUM QUALITY".

MICROCAST is a world class industry facility, in using stereolithography. MICROCAST is firmly established as a foundry at the forefront of technology, handling MOULD BLOC and SHELL investment casting techniques to guarantee a high quality of LIGHT METAL ALLOYS PRODUCTS.

To reinforce our industrial structure and to further develop our business, we have :

Bought the VALFOND group Lost Wax Department, in Châteauroux (France) and renamed the company "AEROCAST" (year 2000).
Moved AEROCAST activity to a new location (new premises and equipments) to become our second strategic plant (year 2001).

AEROCAST, besides its speciality of aluminium and cuprous alloys investment casting by the shell process, has developed an innovating technique, to produce in series, magnesium structural parts.
