Transfert of AEROCAST operations into a new facility building with new equipment

Purchase Valfond at Châteauroux (France) and rename it AEROCAST a light metal alloy investment castings facility

The Atlantic is crossed and they get the First North American Customer

• 1998 MICROCAST places 15% of its shares in Paris Stock Exchange
• 1994 Export markets represent over 20% of the sales
• 1993 MICROCAST Italia sales company is established nearby Rome (transfered to PAVIA, Italy in 2004)
• 1991 Introduced CMM Technology
• 1990 Introduces CAD System : The Pro Engineer package
• 1989 Pioneer in using Stereolithography to produce prototypes bigger than 700 mm (28 inches) in length
• 1988 The High Mechanical Properties Process is introduced and Equipment is based on Low-pressure and Vacuum pouring of Aluminium Alloys
• 1986 MICROCAST SARL becomes MICROCAST SA and starts to produce for export
• 1985 Start development into the French Defence market
• 1984 First production of Aeronautical parts for AIRBUS program
• 1983 Separates from MESSIER and is taken over by private French Shareholders
• 1982 First established as MESSIER foundries in Adé (near by Lourdes – South-West of France)
