CASTING PROCESS
Gravity in Vacuum
By using vacuum gravity, the mould is placed in a tank
which is then put into a vacuum. Then one mould after the other is cast.
Low-Pressure & Vacuum Casting
By using a combination of low and vacuum counter-pressure,
this process was developed by Microcast and constructed following an important
research programme which was carried out in the late eighties. This installation
allows pieces with sizes of 1m3 to be cast with high mechanical properties
(premium castings). This low pressure and counter-pressure vacuum casting
machine is entirely managed by computer, since each piece uses a casting cycle
which is recorded and identically reproduced each time. This equipment allows
pieces to be cast in a way that was not possible to achieve before, in a lost-wax
foundry. It is a world-wide innovation without precedence.
High Mechanical Properties Shell
process « CERAMCAST »
High characteristics process a result of consequent
research, one facility has its own technology in the field of high mechanical
properties.
Based on principles recognized by the metal industry, this facility produces
by the way, parts of structure meeting the highest criteria of "Premium
Castings" by the mechanical resistance and very good performance.
